Boruni Jana Wnetrze

Boruni Galleries

Galeria BORUNI has been operating on the market since the early 90s, and its owner and originator is Tomasz Mikołajczyk, who ran his own jewelry studio for many years before starting his business.

In the jewelry industry, we are known primarily as the largest Krakow gallery with amber jewelry and unique decorative items. We currently have four locations operating in the heart of Krakow (Gallery at ul. Św. Jana 2 and three stands in the Cloth Hall).

From the beginning of our activity, we have been guided by the principle of fair trade. We offer jewelry from both natural and modified Baltic amber, about which our customers are always informed. All amber products that we present are previously tested with a spectrometer for authenticity confirmed by a special certificate.

In Galeria BORUNI you will find unique jewelry inspired by current trends, as well as classic jewelry with timeless designs or created in the idea of minimalist chic. We cooperate with leading Polish and Lithuanian manufacturers and renowned artists and jewellery designers. In addition to women’s and men’s jewellery, we also offer original everyday products and many others.

Recipients of our offer can be sure that they will get answers to all their questions about amber on site thanks to the qualified staff of the BORUNI Gallery. In addition, people who want to learn more about the “treasure of the Baltic” have the opportunity to watch a film (in several language versions) presenting the history of amber and its contemporary artistic manifestations.

Amber Portal

In 2006 the desire to promote knowledge about amber initiated the creation of the concept of amber web portal. In March 2007, a web portal – amber.com.pl, which is a platform for information on amber in Polish and English, launched in the virtual world. The portal is a medium designed not only for people affiliated with amber industry, but it also a means of valuable information for a layman seeking knowledge of amber. Since its inception the emphasis is on honest, professional knowledge – a high level of knowledge is ensured by cooperation with the recognized representatives of the amber, museum and scientific environments, as well as with amber organizations, museum establishments, amber institutions and fair organizers. This enables the portal to become an important tool for promotion of amber, amber jewelry, producers, artists and galleries that offer products with amber.

Amber Museum

In September 2013 years the street Jana 2 established the Amber Museum. We have gathered unique exhibits, showing its natural beauty, demonstrating its uniqueness, providing valuable knowledge about the formation and history of treatment, sensitizing its beauty and the diversity of forms and colors. Here it becomes clear why it is amber is the most beautiful of all the stones. Our mission is to not only educate, but also care about the cleanliness of Baltic amber. Therefore, when the museum running the Amber Laboratory, where on modern and reliable spectrometer can check whether a product is made with authentic Baltic amber.

Amber Laboratory

Taking into account not only the beauty of amber, but also its purity, we have created the Amber Laboratory, where you can check whether the product you have is actually made of real Baltic amber or is its imitation – using a modern and reliable spectrometer, our staff recognizes the authenticity of amber, and the examination takes only a few minutes.

We cordially invite you to visit BORUNI and familiarize yourself with the offer of amber products!
